In recent years, I have not gotten many opportunities to release my wild side in films. This project was a rare exception, vampires as horror icons I have a personal fascination with, and I wanted to show the initiation of a female vampire with rain/baptism in blood.
In this project, I remembered what intrigued pretty much everything related to vampires. Primarily paying homage to World of Darkness Universe Paradox Interactive’s Vampire the Masquerade, Marvel Entertainment’s earlier projects, Imaginary Forces produced the first Blade film opening. Anne Rice’s novel series, Universal Studios Dracula (1931)
The director Gregg Simon asked me to participate in his indie vampire film produced by Pollen Path Entertainment. I directed the sequence and did post-production myself. My partner Aynur Kazaz produced it. We used theatre blood/lots of it and some CG blood as well.
