Contribution for OFFF2011 Year Zero book.
Year Zero. Year Alpha. Time to turn our back on the past. To just look forward. Upwards. Fearless of being blinded by the sun. It’s time to set up new rules, to
invent new games. To forget about the “re-” and the “post-”. To become kids again and discover the world. Another one. It’s time to be revolutionary. There is
no longer a present to determine us, because the present is us. We are the future. And the future will be just like we want it to be.
2011 is OFFF’s Year Zero. The year the festival will voluntarily forget its past and once again reinvent itself. In a new place. With new areas. With fresh ideas and
the spirit of those who start something. Something big. Different. Better.
From OFFF we stand up to the passage of time. We reject it. We have decided not to age. Our route page is blank. Our map, waiting to be drawn. Nothing ties us.
Nothing is forbidden. Nothing is done. There is no limit. Year Zero. Tabula rasa. Look, the dawn is breaking. It’s a new day rising.

Creative Direction and 2d Logo designs: Heath Kane
Music & Sound Design: Studio Takt
The Kollektiv asked me produce a 3d logo animation for their website. As a logo animation on web it was so nice and, I want it to be more than just something done for web. So, we teamed up with Studio Takt and build this colorful transformation.
Heath Kane designed original 2d logo designs and we shaped project together to its final state.
Design42day asked me to create a commercial and gave opportunity to produce this piece. I selected quotes from Marcel Duchamp, Rem Koolhaas, Paul Rand, Oscar Wilde and try to integrate in to motion while portraying feelings related to design.
Typography is done by Ipek Torun and sound, music design done by Mert Kizilay. I integrated typography using camera data which came from 3dsmax.
TRIANGLE is a video work done for the book ‘Black Material’ which showcases Robert Knoke’s artwork.
Curator Jens Karlson asked me to make a short animation and get Robert Knoke’s black and white artwork as base for video. I chosed to create tense harmony between geometrical forms and organic movements. Combustion helped me to expand possibilites of Black material with his strong music and sound design.

Nokta . (Dot .) is an abstract short film project which is an improvisation of organic pieces and themes like power, control and luck. Using low-budget equipment and with the combination of actual camera shooting, 2d and 3d animation techniques, the film alters the reality and physics of the real world with the help of the liquid and dynamic simulations’ impact.
Even though the film is not produced according to the base of Amos Funkenstein’s text on harmony, but the text is a convenient statement for the stylistic and representational behaviour of the film.
‘I see some correspondence between the foundation of universal harmony on elliptical orbit and the predilection for the elliptic forms in Baroque architecture. In both cases harmony is still defined as unity within multiplicity, but it ceased to be static, namely, harmony expressed in one ideal geometrical form, and became so to speak dynamic. What was previously regarded as the deviation from the ideal form, was comprehended for the first time as an integral part of the form, or form of forms, which are capable of endless transitions one into another. ‘ [Amos Funkenstein, The Dialectical Preparation of Scientific Revolutions. On the Role of Hypothetical Reasoning in the Emergence of Copernican Astronomy and Galilean Mechanics.]
An abstract sentence about life and transformation.
‘ Nokta . ‘ won Honorary Mention award from Prix Ars Electronica in Computer Animation/ Film /VFX category and showcased various international film festivals and numerous blogs.
